Vivekananda Mission Asram Sikshayatan (High School), a self - financed Secondary school for Boys and affiliate to WBBSE consists of a special School. The High School Section for boys (established in 1982) affiliated to WBBSE in 2005 was establised in 1982. In the year 2026 the total number of students is 790. The results of the institution in Madhyamik Pariksha(SE) of West Bengal are excellent every year with almost all the students securing 75% marks and above.
From the year 2013 to 2026 the school recorded its name in the list of 1st Top 10 places in the MP(SE) with its 8th place in 2013 & 2022, 7th & 9th places in 2024, 9th place in 2025 & 2026 as well as in 1st 20 places with 16th in 2007, 18th in 2013, 11th in 2014, 14th in 2015, 19th in 2016 & 2019.

Vivekananda Mission Asram Sikshayatan (High School) is one of the institutions of the Vivekananda Mission Asram where an attempt is made to impart an all-round education to the children. Swamiji said, "The idea of all education and training, should be man-making." This is the ideal, and efforts are made to put it into effect. Here students are encouraged and trained to grow in all directions - physical, intellectual. The school is one of the best Bengali Medium schools.
The Session begins in January and gets over in December every year.
Applications for admission are to be made on prescribed forms which may be had from the Office of the Vivekananda Mission Asram Sikshayatan(High School) between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on any working day in September & October every year. The last date of submission of the Application form and the dates of Aptitude Test are notified in time. Selection of students from Class V to Class VIII is made on the basis of an Aptitude Test.
